What is RCCS?
Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization that helps cancer patients obtain the best health care possible by helping them obtain and/or pay for health insurance policies. RCCS also attends to the emotional needs of the entire family through activities such as running support groups.

When was RCCS founded?
RCCS was founded in 1997 and has helped thousands of cancer patients maintain their health insurance policies.

Who is eligible for RCCS’s service?
Any person diagnosed with cancer, is eligible for RCCS’s assistance. RCCS patients come from communities across the United States. All applicants must submit an affidavit from their rabbi confirming their need.

Does RCCS provide insurance coverage?
No. RCCS helps cancer patients obtain policies, if necessary, and helps them pay the premiums on existing policies. RCCS gives information and referrals, but does not sell insurance.
